We now live in a Wikipedia society, where anyone can change the meaning of a word to satisfy a goal. Today, we’re seeing words being co-opted in order to deceive the un-informed or uneducated, and in order to push a false narrative. LGBTQ activists in particular often label anyone who has a dissenting opinion as a 'hater'.
